TAKI TAKI HUH? WHAT EVEN IS THAT PLACE?

So… Why “Taki Taki”?

First things first—no, it’s not because of the song by DJ Snake. Even though, at this point, it’s basically become part of our unofficial soundtrack.

From what we’ve been told, “Taki Taki” loosely translates to something like “come, come” — an invitation, a call to join. And whether that translation is perfectly accurate or not… it somehow feels right.

Because behind the name, there was never just a party. There was an idea. An environment. A feeling.

Where It All Started

Taki Taki didn’t begin as this huge concept. It started as something much simpler: a Latino party made for Latino people who missed hearing their own music. And if you’ve ever been an international student or lived far away from home, you probably understand it immediately.

Imagine being on the other side of the world, in a place where people barely speak your language and know little about your culture besides Shakira and “Gasolina.” Suddenly, hearing reggaeton, salsa, or Latin hits in a crowded room, feels bigger than music—it feels familiar.

That was the vision:

To create a space that felt a little closer to home… while still becoming part of your second home.

But eventually, it stopped being only for Latinos.

More Than Just a Party

Over time, Taki Taki became something different.

A place where cultures naturally mix. Where Latin rhythms meet international sounds.

Where people from completely different countries and stories somehow end up sharing the same dancefloor in Katowice.

At first, it was all about the music. Filling the dancefloor. Creating a good night. But eventually, we realized the most important moments weren’t only happening on the dancefloor—they were happening around it. Cocktails evolved through the people who drank them, requested them, changed them, and made them part of the experience.

Because in a place like this, you don’t just see people. You witness them.

The Human Side of Nightlife

• We’ve seen hearts break.
• We’ve seen friendships begin in one random night and continue for years after.
• We’ve seen fights, vulnerability, pride, chaos, honesty, lies, and moments of pure connection.
